In spring 2007, Marimekko launches a new, versatile interior collection including flameretardant Trevira CS curtain fabrics as well as cotton upholstery fabrics. Top Nordic designers Björn Dahlström, Anna Danielsson, Harri Koskinen and Ilkka Suppanen have created a modern, minimalist collection, with the aim of evoking positive feelings. The fresh and energetic colours of the fabrics work as an effective background in a space.
The clean and graphic Frekvenssi, Elementti and Monumentti fabric prints by Harri Koskinen bring a completely new look to Marimekko design. Fundamentally abstract motifs, shapes and lines develop into systems, causes and effects. The different
colourways provide a variety of ambiances.
